Omar, the longest cat in the world is three times the size or a normal cat. This Australian cat weight at about 14 kilograms. Omar became famous after his photo was featured on Cats Instagram account that has over eight million followers.
After it became viral, the cat’s owner Stephy Hirst was contacted by the Guinnes World Records.
‘We thought he might be (the longest cat in the world) but we hadn’t done anything about it because he might not be fully grown yet,‘ Ms Hirst told The Herald Sun.
This cat’s diet includes a two scoops of kibble for breakfast and raw kangaroo meat for dinner. And most of all, he enjoys napping.
Omar can be seen posing in photos with dogs, which looks small compared to their normal cat friend.
‘He sleeps on the couch… because he takes up too much room on the bed and he demands we cuddle and pet him all through the night,‘ Ms Hirst said.
